Solo traveler looking for tranquility

When I stayed there, the breakfast was phenomenal, I mean it, just top-notch with discussions that felt like I was part of something bigger. Plus, the staff was incredibly welcoming, they answered every question, made me feel right at home, and it was nice just chilling in the sun room with a book.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still within reason for the quality I enjoyed.

The bed provided a great night's sleep, well-supported and comfortable. The hot water was excellent, allowing for a refreshing shower after a long day.

Just a prime choice for a fleeting trip in Yorktown with all in all brilliant value for money. The in-room fireplace made for a cozy evening. Consider taking an Uber if you're planning to explore nearby attractions.

Had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cozy fireplace in our beautiful room while listening to some fantastic local history at breakfast. The access to the garden area and the charming surroundings made it easy to unwind after our adventures. Just a small note, the air conditioning in our upstairs room could use a little attention, but it didn't dampen our excitement one bit! 😊

However, noise from other guests late at night was somewhat disruptive, and finding parking was a bit tricky during peak times.

We enjoyed a delightful stay at this charming inn with my father. The family activities by the Riverwalk were fabulous, complete with face painting and games. The manager even prepped a special breakfast for us, though we missed it due to an early start! Overall, a lovely experience.

hornsby house inn was a fantastic place for our family. the king suite was cozy and perfect for us. the location is just minutes from downtown, and we loved the two cozy living rooms available for guests. manager tom even called ahead to ask about our breakfast preference, which is a nice personal touch! such a warm atmosphere!
